Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child born to the family of Oyakhilome and was born on the 7th of December, 1973 to Tim Oyakhilome. He was educated in primary and secondary education at Ambrose Alli University. After that he graduated with an BSc Architecture.
AAU also granted him an honourary Doctor of Science prize. He has also been awarded an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they have two children.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his journey in ministry while at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship was at the time known as Youths For Christ (YFC).
